Post Body

I'm just about ready to look into suspension in a more serious way. I've got the space, I've got enough comfort with my floor work, I've got the reading material, and I've got options for a DIY version--but I don't wanna. I would like a permanent fixture.

I've got a wall that's a little over 2' recessed between two closets, and is maybe five feet wide. Is this enough space to put a hard point in? More importantly, how do I actually go about getting that installed?

I'm expecting I'll need to hire a professional to do it; the closets that would form the frame on either side are wood hidden by drywall so I am likewise expecting that they will need reinforcement. How does one go about actually doing this when they don't have the DIY skills? Is this just "post on fet and solicit contractors"? If you've been in this position, are there any issues that would be good to know ahead of time?
