Howdy folks,

I'll make this quick. I have a partner that is interested in engaging in shibari/rope suspension and its something I've been considering getting into for a while. Im aware of the dangers of getting into this activity uneducated and have literally messed with tons of ropes since I was a kid. I've also been looking for classes to join for a wile throughout my region in order to learn this topic a bit more in depth.

That having been said, I can't rig up anything in my place since Im renting-and yes I've gone through some searches, but Im wondering if anyone could possibly recommend different frames for suspending someone with, whether shibari or something like a yoga swing (Im figuring a yoga swing would be easier to get into at first until I have the knots and what not down)? I'd love to have it be portable so i could break it down, pack it in my car and take it on the road (but also fit in my room in a house as well).

I say this also as someone that has designed a spank bench and will be building that out in the next week or so, so Im not an idiot to the lifestyle or different possible design issues. I DIY things all the time and love carpentry, but I imagine buying something would just be easier.

TLdr: Just wondering if someone can possibly rec a good frame for beginning to try out suspension/ropes/shibari suspension possibly?
