how long did it take for you to get in your first dynamic?

so ive been searching for a dom for awhile now and im getting a bit sad about about it. because of my kinks and hard limits theres very little i can do solo, and im top of that i dont want an online dynamic
how long was it for you to get into your first dynamic? is it normal to become increasingly frustrated over not being in one despicable trying almost every option?
i do know these things take time and im trying to be patient
