I am a switch myself, I know how being a switch feels.

Sometimes you are in mood for a role, sometimes you are in mood for the other one. Maybe you may have periods where you feel more a role than the other, like "sub periods" or "Dom periods". Maybe you have a preferred role. Maybe you have a role that "fits better" with your personality and one that is a bit difficult to experience. Maybe your role may vary according to your partner, to your mood, to the period you are living in your life. Or maybe you just like to enjoy every facade of the bdsm thing and that’s all.

Essentially, everything seems to be a bit more complex than just knowing you are a Dom or a sub.

What I would like to ask (as a sort of survey) to all the switches out there is: how do you live your peculiar role?

Do you feel more dominant or submissive? Do you have a favourite role between the two?

How often are you used to switch from a role to the other? It's like you switch on daily basis or do you have "periods"?

Do you have a role that just "fits better" with your personality? If yes, how do your deal with the "minor role"? Do you struggle fulfilling it?

How do you deal being a swith with your partners? Are they switch as well or do you feel okay also with "pure subs" and "pure Doms"?

If you are into long term dynamics, how do you deal them? Are you able to just being a sub or a Dom for long periods? If yes, how long can you stay in just one role?

To summarise, I am curious to see what's your experience as a switch, so maybe form all the comments it may emerge one or more "common experience(s)" :)
