My question is how can they see what subreddit groups I'm a member of. If they can see, and I never participated in their subredit how did they find me.

Prior to receiving notice of being banned I did not know that subredit existed. I'd posted in AUSfinance, and ddlg groups and bdsm groups only.

I appreciate this. I'll work on creating separate accounts here too. I don't know why I thought reddit would be more private than insta hahaha.

I'll create a nsfw account and keep this one (as it's my main) for sfw stuff.

So they have a bot that scans every reddit profile randomly and bans ppl that way? With no prior interaction? Weird.

Why I thought I had not connecting with that subredit is I never went hunting for it. Any places that openly advertise they hate LGs I avoid. So I was stunned too by the ban notice.

I see, that is interesting. I wonder what it was. 🤔 Mindlessly going through the homepage is a thing I do. It's hard when people I don't know can find it yet when I search I can't find anything at all. First thing I did when I received ban notice was to go searching to see what had happened.

It's huge learning curve in this case I only became aware of the subredit in question due to the ban.

The main feed spits all sorts of posts at me and seldom do I even bother to look where they are from so I wonder if it's something simple like that too.

So yeah sucks that my main account essentially has to die now because bots scan for history XD so yeah lmao 🤣

I see so perhaps they have a mod that scans "no fly list" subreddits and saw me post and smashed the ban button?

Yeah no doubt, for groups I actually interact in. They did reply to me and acknowledged I'd never posted commented etc in their group. So how did they find me. Do they just actively surf nsfw groups to go looking for people to ban? 0.o

The only comment/mention of that subredit from myself I can find is this thread.

How can I change that? ♡
