I have a profile on Fetlife and I’ve been taking a look at the local munches, seems like each town has one each month so plenty of opportunities. I not going hoping to get laid; this is purely to socialize, get out a bit more, try to meet some people and see if being part of the local kink community is for me.

However, since I can see who RSVPs to these events on Fetlife, I’d (29m) easily be one of, if not the, youngest person(s) there depending on which of the “maybes” end up going. Not just a couple years difference, at least 10 years, with the average being around 45-50. Since I’m a guy I don’t have the same worry as a young woman might, but I already have some social anxiety and I’ve noticed I don’t do well when most people are that much older.

I’d love go to one of these, I’m just wondering what I should expect my experience to be like as a younger first-timer.
