Coming to Reddit BC I Had a Disagreement on FB
Post Body

Ok. I'm going to try to be as objective as possible here, but let me set the scene.

Someone posted anon in a fb grp with a question on how they could train their sub to be a brat. My response was that I don't feel it is necessarily possible to "train" a sub to be a brat, due to the fact that being a brat is more along the lines of a personality trait, versus something that is learned through BDSM. ( that was me voicing my opinion).

Someone then commented referencing coersion and manipulation.

I responded saying that ( again this is my opinion) you should not actually coerce or manipulate someone into being a brat because it can be detrimental to someone's mental and emotional health if you were to actually manipulate them in any way that is not a form of either consentual play, or a part of a consentual scene.

As play, I see no issues, but as a means to genuinely change a person without consent, I don't feel this is safe, healthy, or ethical.

What are your thoughts? Am I wrong? Am I the ass hole? I was told I "don't know anything about bdsm".
