Many of us, myself included, have sought advice on punishments and tasks to train our subs. However, itβs crucial to remember that our training should have a clear and purposeful goal. With a well-defined goal, we can apply the SMART goals framework (see below for more details) to structure our training effectively. By knowing precisely what we want our subs to achieve, we can devise appropriate rewards, punishments, and habits. For example, if the objective is to make our sub more organized, you might ask them to create a daily to-do list every morning. With a clear goal, it becomes easier to establish habits and determine suitable punishments for our subs. By maintaining clear, goal-oriented training strategies, we ensure that the development and progress of our subs are both effective and consensual.
