Bondage play when you have carpal tunnel?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone here has experience being a bottom for bondage/restraints who has carpal tunnel syndrome. I was hoping to get to do some light bondage and/or wrist restraints, but I obviously don't want to do this if this is could potentially make carpal tunnel symptoms worse.
Of course, this is a question best directed at a doctor, but just wanted to check here first.
