I had a guy walk away from me during a date, when I brought up being into kink. This was the 4th date so I figured it was a good time to bring it up, and while he seemed receptive at first when I went into detail about what I liked specifically and what I was looking for, his face changed. Once I figured he wasn't receptive anymore I shut up and he just got up and walked away from our table, leaving me alone and stuck footing the bill.
My kinks can be a bit extreme I know that, should I have maybe tried to bring them up gradually? I really want to make them clear up front so there's no miscommunication but I feel terrible having scared someone away.
I feel like dating is just...terrible when you're kinky. I know I'm cute, confident and everything a vanilla guy would be lucky to have, but it's like I can only manage to attract vanilla guys, not kinky guys. (Or at least genuinely kinky guys, there's a LOT of fake guys out there)
