Benchmarks for earning a collar.

Hope you’ve all had a great weekend subs and fellow Dom(mes). I know earning a collar is very unique to each couple, each sub and each Dom. That being said I’m a very structured person in every area of my life and that reflects in my Domination. I’m having trouble just ‘feeling’ when it’s right that a sub has earned a collar. I’m wondering if anyone has used benchmarks, achievements or accomplishments that signaled a sub was moving closer to or had earned their collar. I’m hoping I can get a brain storm going. Thank you in advance for your, as per usual, insightful advice everyone.
