Vampires in BDSM?

I had some guy come to me on Fet saying that he was a vampire. I asked him is that how you identify yourself and he said no I’m actually a vampire.
Can somebody please enlighten me on this? Does he actually think he’s a vampire or is that like some kind of energy in the BDSM world? Or dynamic or whatever? Should I be worried he’s gonna fly into my room at night or should I just be worried that he’s gonna eat a steak that’s a little too rare and get a stomach thing?
