Then I downloaded up Brutal Obsession by S. Massery because I heard it also had some CNC/primal play themes. I DNF and left a 1 star review. I made it to page 83.

SPOILERS The last chapter I read he goes after her, pins her against a way, she fights, covers her mouth until she almost passed out and then makes her cum, BUT THESE TWO CHARACTERS HATE ONE ANOTHER. Moments before she confronts him in a bar and he bullies her calling her a gimp, then pouring a beer on her heard. Idk I was so off put by that. It's not even fathomable to me. Maybe bully romance isn't my thing? I just don't know how the author justified that as CNC/dub con. 😒
