This post is about ritual - There are sometimes needs to scratch other itches, but dressing my partner up for a date is one of my favorite ways to start a scene, if logistics allow.

This is in pursuit of a general idea that I truly love destroying perfect things. The result is somehow always more beautiful than when we started. And I love that.

I enjoy dressing my partner from head to toe. We'll sometimes pinterest window shop in order for me to understand their personal style.

I'll recommend that my partner buy certain pieces, get them myself, or use things from their closet that are to my specifications.

Everything from the sky high heels to the hairstyle and nails matter to me. Not that it has to be complicated, in many ways it can be simple. She'll dress up and we'll meet for a date. I'll notice the men looking at her like a piece of meat, then notice me. I love the reactions. It excites me knowing that for that moment she's my little slut.

Sometimes I like challenging my sub, especially women are accustomed to dressing modestly. Ideally my partner would be dressed in some way to induce lust. A see-through top, plunging neckline, an impossibly short skirt.

Incorporating skimpy clubwear into a higher end bar scene, etc. I get flooded in anticipation, lust, and thoughts of what I'll do when I get her alone.

As I said before, I like to destroy beautiful things. I'll think about the sound of the clothing tearing, how much better the lipstick will look smudged on my shirt and across her cheek. How her hair will feel as I grasp it. The way the same eyes that are cordially smiling at me will possibly well up with tears. It focuses my energy and clears my mind of all the noise. It's the perfect way to start a scene. 

I'm curious for other people, what are your favorite or ideal rituals? How do they serve a broader ideology of kink for you? Are they the same for your Dom if you're a sub, or your sub if you're a Dom?
