From a slave’s perspective, why can it be difficult to find a female dominant to serve?

I often hear from female dominants that it is hard to find a slave to serve them long-term. The common reasons cited are lack of commitment on part of the slave.

However, I’m interested in hearing if slaves find it hard to find a female dominant to serve (in real life). Do slaves find it difficult to find female dominants and why?

The reason I ask is because I want to find a slave to serve me but I don’t want to fall into any pitfalls that dommes may often fall into when acquiring a slave. I want to be in a position to give them what they need long term if I can, in fact, actually fulfill that need.
