So I just went on a first date with someone I met on Hinge. I have references on my profile to being kinky (and they're not subtle, I'm pretty willing to be open about my preferences) but it didn't come up organically on the first date. I want to broach the conversation with her, to feel out where she's at, but I'm not sure whether it's best to do so via text or on a second date.

Texting would lower the stakes of the conversation and give her space to think about her response. Then again, sometimes important conversations are best had in person.

What do y'all think? Any thoughts either way?
