As the title says, I'm headed to my first ever local play party tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't be there with my Mistress(she can't make it, but she's given me permission to attend and explore as I see fit), but I am going with one person I know.

While I have decent of knowledge about BDSM, my experiences with it have been few and far between. Still, I want to see what people who are more experienced and who have been living the lifestyle are like, especially with the prospect of establishing a permanent lifestyle dynamic with my Mistress.

I'm not exactly sure what to expect, though I'm anticipating it'll be pretty wild. From the sign-up online, it looks like there will be quite a few D's there, and fewer women than men. As a woman who's a switch, I think my biggest fear is getting too much attention. While I don't doubt that the people in attendance will understand the importance of consent, having a negative experience still concerns me greatly.

To those who have gone to play parties before, how wild do they usually get? What are some of your standout experiences (both positive and negative) from going to one of these parties?
