I'll start off my saying that I'm not very experienced within the BDSM community. I've mostly played with partners online, and I have done some light play with a few people IRL but it was very basic stuff. I've never been to a munch or play party or anything. What I do know is that I'm definitely a sub. I love being dominated and it's really the only thing that gets me off.
Today I watched an Evie Lupine video where she talked about a flogging demonstration she saw that was very sensual and emotional. I've never viewed domming in this light before, and it inspired me. I think I would like to learn how to do different types of sensation play and possibly other things like rope bondage. I doubt that I would get anything out of it sexually, but I think it would be fun to learn some new ways to make people feel good, and I think it would also increase my confidence. Maybe I could (hopefully one day) go to a dungeon or play party with a friend and top them without having any sort of D/s roleplay dynamic. I'm at a point in my life where I'm trying to acquire some technical skills (both practical and fun), so why not learn about this thing that I'm already interested in?
Is it worth learning how to dom if I know I'm 100% submissive? Is it generally viewed as acceptable to do so? Where should I start?
