How long did it take to move on from your first Dom/Sub?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this group and thought I could get some advice? I very recently ended things with my first DaddyDom and I'm feeling both conflicted and obviously upset about it. We had been together for 6 months and it had transitioned into a full relationship. Things had started to bubble up on the relationship side but on the kink side he was a fantastic first and I thought he could be the only Daddy for me. How long did it take for you to feel ready to find another dom/sub? I also understand it's different for everyone but figured getting others perspective could help. Thanks!
