Stupid question out of hopelessness: Can you use your masochism to deal with unwanted pain caused by health issues?
Post Body

A little non-kinky background info before the question:

I'm currently in a "frustrating" position. It's saturday and I woke up with semi-intense tooth pain in Belgium. Looks like hospitals don't have emergency dentists in Belgium, and very few the dentists I could find were giving my appointments between 2 weeks and a month. I got ibuprofen from the doctor but it's still aching a lot. The emergency dentist call is 1.5 euros per minute, and when I called them, they made me wait for a couple of minutes before the call abruptly ended, and I got an sms from my service provider, informing that I reached the monthly external fees and the call ended. And even if I could have an appointment, the fee is not something I can pay right away until I get my tri-monthly payment on monday. They also want cash. So the best case scenario for me is waiting till monday.

Now, the thing is, I'm a masochist sub and I normally enjoy canes, whips, electro, kicks on butt and punches on belly kind of pain. Most fellow masochists would be familiar with the "good pain" versus "bad pain". Obviously, toothache is a bad one. I was just thinking if it would possible to condition oneself to add some kinkiness to it, and suffer less? Any ideas?
