Niche idea for a use for rope, not sure what material has desired properties
Post Body

I currently only have cotton, which I know is good for practice, decoration, and prototyping.

I've been trying to prototype a rope version of a chastity cage strap, with the goal of having something that makes overnight wear more feasible. Not getting an actual strap, because I don't know how to size it and don't know how effective they are (will consider it if anyone has advice in this regard).

Based on what I've learned with cotton, I know I need the rope to be less stretchy, but remain easy to clean, given the location of its use. Then there's the consideration that the goal is for it to be safe, comfortable, and secure enough for overnight wear.

My guess is that hemp and jute (along with most other natural fibers) are out because of difficulty to clean. What would be the relevant drawbacks of trying it with nylon?
