Safe "Noose" Knot

All the recent posts about "hey I wanna choke out my partner but have it not be a big deal" made me wonder- does anyone know a way to tie a rope so it LOOKS like a hangman's noose knot, but it's actually something way safer? I'd be curious, since while I have a partner who'd love the imagery it just does not feel safe at all to use one in play.
