Breath play is one of my biggest kinks, particularly plastic bag asphyxia (and before anyone reads me the safety and consent riot act: both I and my primary partner are trained and practicing medical professionals and are fully risk aware). For most of my life I have taken for my props whatever plastic bags came my way, usually nice clear, shiny, silent ones that came wrapped around medium sized products ordered online, but these are becoming increasingly rare, especially without added safety holes to prevent exactly what I want them for. Whenever I run out of bags from packaging, I end up falling back on basting bags from the grocery store, but these make a crinkling sound, which I am really not fond of.

My question is this: if I'm ordering plastic bags in bulk, what am I looking for? HDPE, MDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, polypropylene, other? And what kind of mil weight makes for strong but supple?
