(M) Planning for a poly/open bdsm relationship in the future with (F) current SO. Advice?

Any advice on how to prepare for that? My partner and I would eventually like to try poly/open in some capacity, but I want to make sure we do it as “correctly” as possible to minimize possible issues.

Im the soft Dom (30M) she’s the bratty sub (22F). From some reflection I’ll be focusing on frequent transparent communication, possibly starting with a couple, and taking it very slow. Would love to hear other thoughts/advice. If anyone is currently in a similar type of relationship, would love to hear from you as well. This won’t be happening for quite a while, but wanted to start thinking / preparing for it now.
