Male here and looking for more information on dom/sub roles and what it all means. I have a strong desire to be dom, but not in a way that hurts or significantly humiliates the sub. In fact, maybe what I desire is not even on the dom/sub spectrum.

I like to be in control and tell the other person what to do, but also want to please (pleasure?) the other person. An example, tying someone up so that I'm in control but then doing things to them that make them feel good.

Are edging and watersports a form of dom?

If you haven't noticed yet, I'm really confused about these things and any advice or resources would be most appreciative!
