My hub-dom and I are in a monogamous (“closed”?) D/s relationship. Neither of us have interest in opening our relationship to additional partners. I feel like this is frowned upon by some (or that’s what it seems like), but with that in mind I have a question about munches or other in-person kink activities/parties.

Is there a place for us there? We love kink and want to learn/explore more. We know that engaging with our local community is a great resource. However if these are mainly event for people to meet and play with new people, and that is not what we are looking for, are we just going to be ostracized/outsiders there?

Going to something in-person is a huge decision for us, so we’re trying to decide if it’s “worth it” if we are not interested in playing with others. Any insight? (If it matters, we are in a major US metropolitan area so we know there is an existing community).
