So this came from a recent event that happened to my partner and shared with her consent.
Basically she was arrested following a traffic accident. The accident wasn't her fault but when the police arrived and ran her licence they found out, much to her shock, it was suspended; therefore arrested. Simple mistake thats now sorted.
Part of an arrest and booking procedure is the removal of all jewellery; rings, piercings, necklaces and bracelets. My GF wears a locked cuff that looks like a simple bangle, very discreet and you wouldn't look at it twice. It takes an Allen wrench (hex key) to remove it. Now luckily they bent the rules for her and didn't remove this (they didn't have the needed tool) by breaking it using bolt cutters or similar. My partner is wonderfully charming and they knew it was a pointless arrest but they're following procedure.
Now I doubt many of you will be arrested but accidents happen. Be aware that locking collars and cuffs do have to be removed sometimes when you do not expect it.
My wife's collar uses a combination lock so that no matter what it can be opened and avoid issues of lost keys (that was a good lesson to learn!).
Side story; she also had a vibrator in her bag that the officer had to go through... it was hilarious!
