I personally have a higher libido/drive, and am curious about a lot of nsfw things; kinda always have been. It’s especially helpful for the more niche/taboo kinks, so as to get that energy out without a lot of risk I guess.
I often use online forums and googling to find out things, or write erotica to let the steam out. But I wonder how I could know if it’s becoming unhealthy as a form of expression.
NSFW things usually have the additional element of shame/generalisations (such as any internet sex things/anything aside from real physical sex is ‘wrong’, doing x and y makes you ‘slutty’, being too overinvolved in the theory/dialogue about sex becomes ‘weird’), but that stuff aside, how do you navigate exploring sex and sexuality without it negatively affecting you?
