So recently, my Dom gave me a gorgeous collar. It's really beautiful and also very discreet, in case we go out in a dynamic but don’t necessarily want people to know. I think a collar has great significance for both of us; for me, at least, it completely changes my mindset, the way I behave, and puts me in a vulnerable mental state.

He communicated to me that he really wants me to wear it more, and also casually, because he thinks it's hot. But isn't the collar supposed to reinforce a dynamic? Is it safe to do that? We are relatively new to BDSM, so I feel a bit uncertain about this.

When we talked about it, he asked me if I wanted him to buy me a second collar that I could wear casually. However, I’m still a bit insecure that using it casually could make me vulnerable in situations where I don’t really want to be.
