Late 30s female and have only found two types on apps - 1 want cheat on their wives or 2 - have zero experience and and just want to use the woman as an object to enact their fantasies on. Obviously there are diamonds in the rough, but there were too many of the first types for me to consider continuing.

I’ve also tried swingers events/bars. A friend has invited me to, but have not been able to find anyone I’m attracted to. Also going as a single woman opens you up to a lot of attention, not all of it positive. I got a little traumatized from this and don’t want to go again without a partner.

I know those are main avenues for finding someone, but wanted to see if anyone else had suggestions. I’m in a major city in the US.
