Hello, I've been interested in BDSM for a little while now and while stumbling around I've picked up a few terms that seem to be appropriate for people new to BDSM and I would appreciate some clarification
Munches: I've seen people get recommended to attend these, but I have no idea what they are? Are they like, sex parties or like, community meetings or am I completely off the mark?
Findom: I see people say that a lot of them are scammers, so I'm assuming the Fin comes from finance and not fin as in Finsexual...? But I also know the term Femdom is a thing so I didn't want to make any total assumptions
TPE: I get the very basic gist of it, but would it be like "My dominant controls every aspect of my life" or is it purely a sexual thing?
Feeld and Fetlife: I'm not entirely clear, are these Apps for meeting people or are they programs or websites? I see people reccomend making accounts for them but they generally leave it at that. I saw Fetlife described as kinky facebook but not as much clarity about Feeld
And finally, not exactly a terminology question per se, but as I understand it a lot of BDSM falls into a legally grey area. How likely is one to be prosecuted if caught engaging in it (in Canada if that helps). I'm just kind of worried that if a future partner were to say tie me to the bed or whatever, that he or I could be arrested for it or if a family member sees a bruise or whip mark and they report him for domestic violence, even if it was consensual.
