My girlfriend doesn’t share my sexual interests, and I’m struggling—what should I do?

I love my girlfriend, but our sexual preferences just don’t align, and I don’t know how to handle it. We’ve been distant for going over a year now. Yes we still have sex but not often at all. I’ve tried sharing things I’d like to do together (like watching certain videos, exploring kinks, or trying different positions), but she’s not receptive. She seems uncomfortable with dirty talk which I thoroughly enjoy. I feel like I’m holding back parts of myself and my needs aren’t being met.

Has anyone been through something similar? How did you handle it, and what helped you find a balance?
