Being Bi, a switch, and versatile can be frustrating. Or I should say people’s opinion or lack of understanding can be frustrating. It seems people see being a switch/verse as being diluted or “lukewarm.” I tend to get the response, “No thanks I want a real top” or a “full Dom.” People seem to think it’s some form of watered down mixed drink. What they don’t understand (speaking for myself but I think for others too) is that it is more similar to an actual switch. When I’m in Dom/top mode, I’m ALL the way there. Not mixed or bouncing between the two. When I’m feeling submissive, I’m all the way submissive and will completely fall in, even in appearance. I know being stuck in the middle is not a new idea but it’s definitely getting old. For those not interested in Bi/switch/verse people, is there an actual difference? Is there a way to explain this to folks or what am I missing?
