Talking to people on here - help
Post Body

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to this subreddit but I could really use some advice. A while ago I put out an ad on r/BDSMpersonals, looking for soft doms/guys in the ddlg community to talk to online and maybe meet. A couple days ago one guy messaged me and we started chatting. He seemed really nice, the age gap wasn’t crazy, and he was super considerate of the safety aspect of BDSM which made me feel really reassured and safe. Today we’ve been messaging all morning, and he said he had to go but would be back in a bit (that was like an hour ago). I just checked now, and he’s deleted our chat, deleted his Reddit account, and basically any other traces of our conversation. I know it’s not a big deal because I didn’t know him at all but it’s left me feeling sad and confused… we were having a really good time and as a little I was really excited to talk to someone so nice. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen or if there’s a good way to prevent it from happening in the future?
