I’ve decided I will take the plunge and venture out into some irl kink events for the first time. I’m having a bit of trouble with the outfit selection and whether it will represent me okay, whether it will give off the wrong vibe or whether I’m completely overthinking this. The dress code for the events is fetish clothing only (leather/latex/bondage gear etc).

I have limited experience in bdsm but enough to know generally about my likes and preferences . I’m submissive obviously, I like some things that would generally fall under the term of “sissy”, but don’t relate completely to this term. As such I’m having difficulties deciding if I should wear an outfit that projects the general vibe that I am into this branch of bdsm at the risk of being misinterpreted or whether I’d be better off wearing something less expressive and basic that doesn’t say too much about me.

To be specific in my day to day life I am a regularly masculine man and would be suited to normal gender roles outside of a sexual context, I wouldn’t ever think of dressing femininely for example, but I think in these events you are supposed to dress to reveal your sexuality?

I was thinking about wearing a latex maid outfit which I will attach. I’m worried this will give off the vibe that I am maybe a cross dresser, or generally feminine which I am not. Is this too much or should I play it safer and wear something more basic and be better off elaborating on my specific kinks if I get to know somebody. Would love to hear peoples thoughts!
