Hey everyone, I'm new to this entire thing like from top to bottom. I don't really know how to meet people and it seems like the events in my area might be the best place but I'm just sorta concerned with me being new and inexperienced it may be hard to find anyone to explore my interests with. I don't really know where to look to meet people other than those events and being around lots of new people makes me really anxious. I guess what I'm asking is how do I meet and befriend someone to go to these things without going to one? What should I look out for as red flags since I'm new and inexperienced? How do I go about talking to someone about that? Are there people out there willing to I don't know a better term, but mentor people?
