Obviously during my actual period I know blood happens. But for the several days before and even after my period, our sex can inspire blood/spotting - both in the moment and for a few pees after. I think because I like it deep/hard and he hits my cervix.

I do have a silicone disc that I will wear during the heavier days to minimize mess but I’ve found that having it in also seems to make it more dry. Not to mention that our sex is more spontaneous so if I’m not actively bleeding I don’t always have the disc at the ready to insert.

This never happened in my previous relationship but it was very vanilla and also just different size.

Any tips or ways to minimize the spotting in the days before and after my period that doesn’t involve having less intense sex?
