I crocheted a blanket for someone as an act of service. We weren’t in a relationship or dynamic, but we were playing and I called him Daddy.

He picked out the yarn and what I’d make and two months later ghosted me. It’s almost done and I’m not really sure what to do with this huge ass blanket. I don’t want to just give it away or sell it, and really like the thought of it keeping a long distance Daddy cozy. I mean this is probably about $140 worth of yarn and three months of work.

Do you think it’s in poor taste to hold on to it (and the mug I got to go with it) until I have a partner and give it to them? I just really hate the idea of all that effort not going to someone I appreciate.
