EDIT: I mean play events/dungeons. Sorry I am very new to this I thought munches people played. I'm talking about play events, not munches which I now understand is just a meet up.

Me (35F) and dom (46M) have always talked about going to a play event because he loves the idea of watching me be pleasured/possessed by someone else. We are D/s only relationship - not romantically attached.

Neither of us have ever been to one before and we haven't been playing together for very long so this is something we have planned for down the road, but Dom talks about it often, usually.

However I noticed he hadn't mentioned it in a while so I asked him if he still wanted to go. He said he did. I said that I am nervous that I wouldn't want to be shared by anyone there and disappoint him (Our agreement is that I can choose the person - if they are game - but he has final decision on who does...as I have to be attracted to the person to be able to this).

Well he appears to have done a u-turn. He said he didn't want to share me with anyone anymore. He just wants to go there for some drinks. Just watch maybe, and do nothing with anyone

Do people do that? Is there even a bar at these events? If you're just sitting on the sideline, do you dress the part? Will people be weirded out by us just hanging about?

I asked if he would like us to just go and do stuff, just us. He said yes but only if there is a side room for privacy?? Do people do that? Is that even a thing?

I'm so confused by his change of decision, and what he expects to happen. By what he described we might as well just go to a normal bar?

I mean, he's my Dom ill do what he wants but I don't want to go against any community rules or look like a fool!

TL;DR: Dom suddenly decided he doesn't want to share me at a play event and just wants to hang out there like a normal bar. Is that a done thing at events?
