Online chat delays
Post Body

So I tend to prefer online, I like the mental aspect.

My question is this, I hate ghosting and I have another thread on that.

What about if you are chatting and suddenly your sub disappears mid chat, obviously something irl got in the way. If they come back hours later is that just how the dynamic works because it’s online. Or does this deserve punishment?

First time it happens I would explain it’s like I am in the room and they just turn away and ignore me, something that would probably provoke a short sharp reminder of the dynamic but online???

It’s just happened to me but it’s early in our conversation so she might just be busy or she might have decided to not proceed which while frustrating is ok - has to be 100% or no fun.

Can I get peoples thoughts on chats where you then sit there while the other is busy??? (Let’s assume I have not been ghosted)
