Partner and I were having sex after a scene and I got triggered by something he did. It was unexpected and not something either of us were aware was a trigger. He handled it really well, no issues there. However, I don't have an explanation for him as to why it happened and theres like this sense of anxiety that it will happen again, because I can't sort out what caused it in the first place.

I told him it wasn't his fault and he didn't do anything wrong, that I don't know why it happened and I didn't know this might happen. Where do we go from here? If anyone here has had a similar thing happen what did you and your partner do about it?
