Have you ever looked for a gentle and/or daddy dom, but was either bombarded by "regular/hardcore doms," or people trying to pose as a gentle dom? If so, how did you deal with it besides being frustrated? I do have a process of elimination such as determining if their initial response is a time waster (the "hey/whats up"), then i look at their profile, then have a set of screening questions etc. But it's the internet, nothings foolproof and there's still those who slip past.

Now, I'm not trying to put anyone in a box. There's people looking for daddy doms who wanna be treated roughly. But if an ad or whatever states they're looking for a gentle daddy Dom (esp for ddlg) then don't contact then if you don't fit the profile!!!!! Like christ on a hill, what posses some people to be like "hmm even though they're looking for this xyz I'm still gonna contact them because I do take care of my subs even though I've never participated in ddlg.🥸" And then charm their way into making u think they're gentle, when they actually want hardcore or master/slave dynamic. The kicker is after you removed them from your space of peace you see them post an ad looking for a FKN BRAINLESS SLAVE! LIKE GET REAL BRO💀 But at least these types of people's mask will ALWAYS slip up sooner or later. Like the red flags will truly reveal themselves little by little. It can just be hard to catch sometimes ugh🙄
