drawer locks & furniture modifications

Today I'm cleaning out my nightstand drawer and filled it up with BDSM gear. Normally, this is hidden away in the closet but I really like the idea of it in reach from the bed. As a co-parent, my kids are frequently in my room, so I've been locking into secret drawer locks. There's some low-cost options using magnets and pins.
So, I'm curious. Anyone have stories to share about furniture modifications to manage BDSM gear?
