For context, I'm still pretty new to being active in the scene (3 months or so) but have been doing a lot, attending a lot of munches, a few events. I've found I really enjoy restraints, impact play & other pain play (as well as some other stuff). I also started off thinking I would be very switchy for various reasons but in reality have found I'm heavily sub leaning.

Most of the play I've been able to explore has been at events, either with house tops or with platonic friends/acquaintances. I am ethically non-monogamous & have a couple of regular play partners that I see when I can but neither are as heavily into the BDSM side of things as I am.

But, I've come to the conclusion that I want to explore a full D/s dynamic along with a lot of other elements that go along with it. Ideally I want to find a Dom(me) that is happy to explore more impact play with me & things like that. Not least as I think that things like impact play would be a lot more satisfying for me to do with someone I have a more intimate relationship with...

To that end, I have been talking to a potential Dom. We've been chatting for a week or so, had a long phone call, discussed a lot of things like what we're looking for, limits, aftercare, etc etc.... now tomorrow we are due to meet in a public place around halfway between where we each live for coffee & a first meeting to see if we click in person & if we want to take things forward.

So, any questions I definitely need to ask? Anything I should look for? Any red/green flags I should keep my eyes open for? Any other thoughts/tips etc?? Thanks!
