Going alone to my first play event?
Post Body

I (M33) realised I was a sub a few years ago, but I've only recently started to get into the scene. I've been to just two munches so far, but I made sure to ask people a bit about what goes on at events, and I think I've got an idea of what to expect now. Also, there's a newbie friendly event coming up soon, and I'm (nervous as hell, but) considering going.

The thing is though, I'm very much a 'do what I'm told' type, and I'm really worried the evening would go with me awkwardly standing alone in my maid outfit, not wanting to bother anyone. I would absolutely love to go to an event with a partner and let them decide everything, but until I meet someone like that I'm stuck making my own decisions like some kind of responsible adult...

I was wondering if anyone had any advice?

Or if you've had a similar experience, how did it go?
