Stretch wrap for bondage

Anyone use plastic stretch wrap for bondage? Searching online shows pics of people fully wrapped up like a mummy. I'm more interested in restraints, such as tieing her hands to her ankles. Seems it would be a lot like rope, but much easier amd faster to use. Also somthing i conspicuous to take on a trip. Maybe I'm missing something, like it's uncomfortable?
