Recently I've been rather taken with the idea of being or having someeone in thumbcuffs or maybe having their thumbs tie wrapped together as I really like the idea of such a small amount of metal or plastic keeping a fully grown person from resisting or getting away (maybe their thumbs are cuffed around a pillar, pipe, small tree, overhead beam, whatever), etc.

But I'm guessing if they struggle too much they could break or otherwise damage their thumbs or hands and that's why you don't see them used more often, or at least without the person also being wrist cuffed or otherwise bound.

Is this correct or is there a way to use just the cuffs but more safely? And I'm guessing the same goes for toe cuffs.
