Hi all, I'm really struggling to find the label to help describe my level of DS (especially among Fet options). It feels like every dynamic has a counter that is the default. Doms have subs, bigs have littles, sadists have masos, switches change it up. But ultimately it all boils down to doms and subs and people who do both at different times.
I primarily identify as primal, and I know it can work a little differently, but I'm struggling a lot when people ask where I sit on the generic dom-switch-sub scale. I've been using the switch label everywhere, but it feels fraudulent as I have no interest in swapping it up. The sub label gets my hackles up and doesn't fit me, and I can't see myself submitting to someone easily, but doms get matched with subs and I find subs boring (in a kink sense- lovely people) and just play casually with them because I can.
Is there any label or easy way to describe someone who is like a dom that is only interested in other doms? Or a sadist that prefers other sadists? I'm very protective of/playful with dom friends and could only see myself dating and playing seriously with someone who challenges me on my level and can match my dom energy.
A label I can pick on fet would be awesome and ideal so I can abandon the switch label (but if I change it to domme people will assume I want subs, like they already do. I'm drowning in desperate subs). If not, just a known label for this orientation would really help too, or something so I don't feel like I'm the only one out here not looking for an opposing force.
My other labels (eg primal) are fine, it's just this key one and it always seems to be what people ask about first. Appreciate any thoughts.
