Edit: I wish people would understand that when people write these kinds of posts they they are not asking if every sub is like this. I'm asking if this is more common with submissives. To rephrase: is the typical sub less proactive in texting first than the typical non-sub, in your experience? If you say "every person is different" you really aren't saying much. Of course every person is different, that's practically a tautology.
I'm dating somebody who is submissive. We've been out on a couple of dates. I'm finding that she is passive when it comes to texting and I think this is a pattern with the other submissives that I have dated.
I have a bit of anxious attachment so I tend to want to text a lot but I'm trying to dial that back. But if I'm dating somebody who is a submissive who expects me to take the lead on things then dialing it back isn't going to work well. This makes me think that the right way to go here is for me to be more aggressive/proactive when dating a submissive.
If you're dating a submissive versus dating somebody who is more ... not (?) do you approach dating differently?
