I’m quite new to being a Domme. I’ve always been a sub/brat/little before now. However, I have a new partner and we have discovered a shared love of mommy kink (also kittenplay) which we’ve been having a lot of fun with.

They stayed over with me last night and we were in that mode most of the time — I fed them from my hands, they sucked my breasts, we cuddled etc. We don’t do any impact play or bondage; it mostly plays out in these actions and in the language we both use (they call me Mommy and I tell them they’re good, etc).

They left this morning and the rest of today so far I have been in a totally broken state, almost like a hangover (we did share a couple of beers, but weren’t drunk by any means). I feel exhausted and aching. I can barely get off the sofa and I just want to sleep, and I feel low, unmotivated and irritable. I also miss them intensely but in a numb sort of way.

Everything I’ve read about top drop seems to suggest it comes about because of the physical actions involved (eg the fact that hitting a partner is strenuous) or some level of guilt because of inflicting pain or degradation, that sort of thing. We don’t do any of that stuff so it doesn’t apply here. So I’m not sure if what I’m feeling right now is normal or expected, nor how to manage this. This is my first time taking on a Domme role in any real capacity.
